Not your father's organ trio! Although they borrow a bit from the master's Jimmy Smith, and Booker T (to name a couple). Big Organ Trio take's the organ trio format in a new direction. At times the organ sounds more like an electric guitar (in tone and licks) than a B-3. If your a fan of the funk, jam bands or organ trios you should really give BOT a listen! I am a collector of B-3 records, and it's great to hear someone taking a new path! I just wish they had more shows available for D/L?
